Addiction Support
Freedom That Lasts is a Christ - centered, Bible- based discipleship ministry to those enslaved in life-dominating sins or overcome by hurtful events of life. In this program, you will go through checkpoints to use in your journey toward Christlikeness. You will advance through the program at your own pace as you watch God change your heart and character through the power of the Holy Spirit and His Word.
There are no coincidences with God. The fact that you are reading this is no accident. We pray God will use the truths found in the pages of the manuals in the program to guide you closer to Jesus Christ: the only source of Freedom That Lasts.
Domestic Trauma Support
SWIRL partners with various agencies in the area. We provide Emotional and Spiritual “First Aid,” then point our clients to more targeted resources for follow up and continued support.
Economic Hardships Support
SWIRL partners with DC Connect to provide the “Getting Ahead” program where clients learn Bridges out of Poverty. This program helps with tools that enable the client to become more independent with their personal finances and their ability to communicate more effectively with agencies and resources in their community. We also partner with Home Solutions, United Way, Goodwill Jobs and The Salvation Army to help with Economic Hardship Support.
